The Book Booth: America's Littlest Library
For every purchase you make through our Downton Gift Shops,
I will donate 10% of our profits to the Book Booth.
If you'd like to check out the "back story" you can click on the following links and either watch an interview I did with YNN: Hudson Valley News or read my interview the Huffington Post. I've included other press for you to peruse if you so desire, and also to confirm that I am not a nut job...well, the jury is still out on that one.
I'm one in the Booth and our Clinton Community Library Director, Terry Sennett is standing to my left. We've a great time putting this together and the local businesses have really stepped forward in
making this happen.
There are two more phases needed to complete before I feel I can stamp this job "Completed". The second is to print a brochure highlighting what wonderful local businesses we have, a map of sorts to direct visitor around our quiet country curvy roads. The final phase would be to market our logo on t-shirts, buttons, bags & totes and this would generate a little income into our library and it's official branch, The Book Booth: America's Littlest Library. We are only about 80 miles north of New York City and a quite pleasant drive from really anywhere around here. Take the Taconic Parkway, exit on Salt Point Turnpike, head East about 1.5 miles and you'll see the Book Booth waiting for you, just make sure to bring a book to exchange. We have a take a book/leave a book policy, I call it readcycling.
Thanks for your time and interest,..that's enough jabbering from me.

Cheers!
